The Holy Rosary, a bridge of LOVE

A BRIDGE connects one to another. It connects people to people. It connects a community to another community. So does the Holy Rosary.

First and foremost in praying the Holy Rosary, we connect ourselves in faith to Our Almighty Father, our Creator, to the Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior, and to the Holy Spirit who guides, inspires and strengthens us in our prayer. To the Holy Trinity we bow and offer our prayer.

With the queen of the Holy Rosary, Mary, our mother, we pray and meditate on the mysteries of the life of Jesus with Mary.We express our faith, trust and glorify our God. We lift up our concerns, needs, wants, problems, and connect with our loved ones, people we care for and lift them up to our God.

We pray that meditating in the mysteries of the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise through the same Christ our Lord. Amen

Why? Explains a mother who prays the Holy Rosary everyday for her,” Example in the five Joyful Mysteries, in The Annunciation, like Mary we humbly submit to God’s will with openness and love and accept that Christ is with us, that His will is what is good for us so with the people we are praying for.In the second mystery, The Visitation of Mary to her cousin Elizabeth, like Mary we care and serve others more than ourselves and we bring Jesus to others as seen in us. In the third mystery, The Birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, we pray that Christ be in our lives, our homes, our communities and in the lives of people we are praying for. In the fourth mystery, The Presentation of the Child Jesus in the Temple, Just like Jesus who was presented to the Father in the temple, we pray and present to the Father our loved ones, our family, our community, the people we are praying for blessings and graces needed. In the fifth mystery, The Finding of the Child Jesus in the Temple , we pray that Jesus be found in us, in our family, in our community and in the lives of the people we are praying for. And more in the Sorrowful, Glorious, and Luminous Mysteries. “

The Holy Rosary for others as they reply:

A patient with anxiety, “I pray the Holy Rosary for deliverance from fears and anxiety. Mama Mary’s prayers give me strength and calm me down to have peace.”

A mother with grown up children with families of their own, “ The Holy Rosary expresses my love for my family and lift up to the Lord for graces and blessings we all need.

A nun serving in a hospital,”The Holy Rosary expresses my concern for my community and for the people we are serving especially the poor patients.”

A soldier assigned to Mindanao, “The Holy Rosary is my shield against harm and destruction.”
An OFW father, “ The Holy Rosary is the protection of my home.”
A widow, “The Holy Rosary is my offering of love for my departed loved ones .
An entertainer, “ the Holy Rosary is my offering for my salvation.”

We are all interconnected for we are all created by God because of His love and everyone is created to be instruments of His love. Through the Holy Rosary prayed and meditated with love, we are connected to each other with the living, and with the suffering and triumphant departed all to our God.

By this offering of love with the prayers of our Blessed Mother Mary, surely our Lord will be pleased because it is love that He commands and it is only love that can bring us to Him, to ETERNAL LIFE.

Thus the Holy Rosary is a bridge of love to HEAVEN!
