BORONGAN CITY, January 23, 2020–Newly crowned Miss Sinulog Festival Queen is set to raise money by selling T-shirt with her photo taken in the streets of Cebu during the recent Sinulog Festival.

The seventeen-year-old Monika Johnson Afable stunner with her team decided to sell t-shirts to extend help to the displaced victims of the recent Taal eruption.

“This is a simple way of reaching out to help those who are in need. There are thousands of victims who would benefit and whose situations would be made better by this fund raising activity” Miss Afable said in an interview with ESTE News.

After winning Miss Sinulog Festival Queen, one of her advocacies is to give attention to those in the peripheries.

“I’m going to sponsor food to our fellow residents in our island barangay upon my arrival,” Miss Afable’s plan after she won the Sinulog Festival search last Friday.
