The Chaplaincy of the Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Sabang, Borongan City, has delivered two relief operations (December 23 and 30) for the victims of the flooding brought about Tropical Storm Urduja that hit the province on December 16, 2017. Under its social action program called “Balay Anawim”, members of the Chaplaincy and several donors, including the Diocesan Commission on Social Action of the Diocese of Borongan and the Knights of Columbus Fraternal Association of the Philippines (KCFAPI), have contributed to the relief work. Several government and non-government organizations continue to help alleviate the pitiful situation of the victims of the typhoon. (Este News)
