ORMOC CITY, August 17, 2018–The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Leyte Fourth District Engineering Office welcomed 35 delegates from the Department of Education (DepEd) Ormoc City Division headed by School Division Supt. Dr. Manuel Albaño to benchmark the office experience on its International Safety Organization (ISO) Certification the other day.
The ISO Core Group of the district office led by District Engineer Lino Francisco Gonzalez shared the various training, workshop and activities conducted, as well as the best practices and lessons learned towards obtaining ISO 9001:2008 certification and eventually its transition to ISO 9001:2015.
District Engineer Gonzalez said that as an ISO certified district office, the DPWH journey has been already shared previously to the entire district of Region 8 last 2017.
He said the national government agencies joined hand in hand to provide quality service the ISO way in order to meet the satisfaction of every Filipino people.
